The 1st Technical Workshop and the 3rd Task Team Meeting of WMO-HydroSOS were successfully held in Nanjing during 11-14 November, 2019. The meeting was sponsored by World Meteorological Organization (WMO), and co-hosted by Nanjing Hydraulic Research Institute (NHRI) and Research Center for Climate Change of Ministry of Water Resources (MWR-RCCC). 34 participants including regional and national hydrological advisers, international experts, stakeholders from the pilot river basins, and members of WMO Commission for Hydrology’s Advisory Working Group from 23 world organizations attend the workshop. Professor Sun Jinhua, vice president of NHRI, delivered a welcome speech on behalf of the hosts.
