At the invitation of Tibet Water Resources Department, two NHRI experts, i.e. LING Hua and YU Yi, were dispatched to Tibet for field technical instruction of special supervision and inspection of hydraulic engineering quality.

The supervision and inspection lasted for 13 days, covering a distance of more than 6000km and 6 prefecture-level cities except Naqu in Tibet, with a focus on the qualification, site area, equipment conditions, archives management, and accuracy and traceability of test reports of 14 testing organizations, such as the labs of Tibet Water Conservancy and Electric Power Planning Survey and Design Institute, Tibet Branch of Luoyang Yuxing Water Conservancy Engineering Quality Inspection Co., Ltd., field lab of Laluo Hydraulic Project of Changjiang River Scientific Research Institute, Linzhi Lab of Guiyang Engineering Corporation Ltd., PowerChina, Tibet Branch of Chongqing Yongyu Construction Engineering Quality Inspection Co., Ltd., etc.

Two NHRI experts overcame the difficulties of altitude reaction and arduous conditions, and actively played their own technical and experience advantages in supervision and inspection according to the unified deployment and requirements of Tibet Water Resources Department, successfully fulfilling respective tasks. The two experts with superb professional skills and rigorous work attitude were highly affirmed and praised by Tibet Water Resources Department and the relevant agencies.
