In order to further improve the inspection and supervision management level of water projects quality in Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region, MWR Quality Inspection Center for Capital Construction designated relevant experts for a technical training in Ningxia during Apr. 19-21, 2017, according to the demands of water industry in Ningxia. NHRI Vice President CAI Yuebo and DDG of Ningxia Department of Water Resources MAI Shan were present and made speeches at the training. More than 100 principals and technical backbones with agencies of quality inspection and supervision, and legal entities of water projects in Ningxia attended the training.

Vice Director of NHRI Department of Research Management GUAN Tiesheng introduced NHRI basic information to the trainees. Experts TANG Lei, CAI Zhengyin, HE Yongjun, XU Zhifeng and CHEN Xunjie gave lectures on specific subjects of basic knowledge of quality inspection of water projects, soil measurement techniques, dam safety monitoring and management, quality control, inspection and evaluation of water projects construction, inspection of concrete engineering, respectively. Ningxia Department of Water Resources paid high attention to the training, conducted a wide and in-depth investigation of practical technical demands of water projects construction and management, and developed a detailed and targeted training program and requirements. NHRI experts carefully prepared the training courses, paying attention to the combination of theories with practices, according to the demands raised by Ningxia. The contents and forms of the training were highly praised by Ningxia Department of Water Resources and trainees, and good results achieved.
