---Sponsored by the Ministry of Commerce, 2017 Seminar on Electrification Mode Based on Clean Energy for Countries along the Belt and Road was inaugurated at HRC on May 5, 2017. In all, 33 officials from Afghanistan, Egypt, Indonesia, Mongolia, Nepal, Samoa along the Belt and Road came to the beautiful city of Hangzhou to attend the seminar. This is the 88th international training workshops/seminars held by HRC. HRC’s Director General Xu Jincai and Deputy Director General Huang Jianping attended the opening ceremony of the seminar and delivered a speech.

During the seminar, officials will have topics as policy, technology, equipment and practical experience of China's clean energy development, field visits to typical hydropower plants, wind power, solar, garbage power plant, equipment manufacturers and etc. The workshop will strengthen the sharing and cooperation of advanced technology and applicable equipment in the field of clean energy in the countries along the Belt and Road, and stimulate the exchange of technology on clean energy and rural electrification between China and the countries along the Belt and Road so as to further promote the connectvity and international project contracting.
